Description

A unique feature of the National STD Prevention Conference is the interface of STD prevention science, program, and policy.
The program highlights of this conference will include the following Plenary Sessions: Public Health in Health Care Reform, Vision for the Future of STD Prevention in a New Era of Change, Achieving a More Holistic Norm for Sexual Health, and STD Prevention in the Future of Public Health. Mini-Plenary Session topics include: Emerging Issues for HIV/STI Prevention (HPV Vaccine, Serosorting, PrEP); Facebook, Blogs, and Cellphones: Opportunities and Challenges for STD Prevention; Sexual Partnering: The Science, Determinants, and Implications; and Audience Interaction Session: Unanswered Questions in STD Prevention Programs. |
